Thank you for taking the time from your busy iLife to read my blog. In today's blog i want to focus on my travels via the music industry ( on the independent level). Ever since 1989 I've been involve in what i call HIPHOP culture. At the age of 5 years old I taught myself how to play all persuasion instruments. Being raise by my grandma and going to church every Sunday,Wed, Friday,Saturday nights and listening to her preach about how "God is happy when a person praise HIM through song and worship" ; this message stuck with me throughout myself defining travels. I began to lean towards the importance of producing lyrics that would do such a thing. In the baby stages of this mission it was difficult, but as i got wiser and feed my mind with positive things i.e. books,music and anything that would expand my views, the lyrics and words began to flow with no problem. I actually give thanks to my loving grandma and moms for that inspiration of truth; in my wiser age i give thanks to the strong men in iLife that gave me that encouragement. Now since you know a little bit about Enoch 7th Prophet. I present to the world TWO New Records I've been sitting on for awhile.

WISEMIND 2012:

This record features (IyahGift) a native of Ibadan, Nigeria by way of Kingston Jamaica. I met this Brother a couple of years ago when he was living in washington dc. We manage to stay in contact after he move out of Babylon. I sent the produced track by (Ardamus) and IyahGift record his verse and the hook. After hearing what my brother record i knew i have to come with the same about of FiRE!!... Enjoy..

Night Nurse:

This record was and still is a reggae classic song by the late Gregory Isaac. After soul searching and wanting to do something different on a musical plane. I sent out an S.O.S to a few producers and nobody could produce the record i needed. Until i told (SelectaMEEKs) about this idea i had she then link me with a brother by the name of (Addis Swaby) who sent me massive chunes (tunes). I must admit i sat on those chunes (tunes) for a very long time. After my 2 weeks stay in Jamaica and returning to the states. I began to study and record this song. In the mist i was unsure how to approach it, so i called on African Ancestors for guidance and strength.........and so  my re-make re-make of "Night Nurse" was born.....enjoy.

Re-View of "THE BREAK THROUGH"

March 13, 2010 on a rainy cool Saturday night. I sojourn out to a stage play presented by Artsperts entitled "The Breakthrough" written by Melissa "Princess of Controversy" Best-Nichols a native Washingtonian. This play was well promoting for months,weeks and days. I got an email about the development of the play months before most people did. It all started out with a casting call and a Thought..............

When I arrived 705pm at the Capital Arts Workshop Building(545 7th Street SE WDC) I was greeted with a beautiful Black Smile given by a sister that welcomed me to the show (I paid $20 bucks) and was escorted by another Beautiful Black sister that showed me to my seat. I must remind the reader that this play started on time and I was Late as I took my assign seat I was amazed by how the actors/actress captured the hearts and minds of the audience.




Wow, what more can say about this excellent play that gave the viewers more then they bargain for with music,love,life,sexual content,Adult Language and thought provoking questions that challenge your intellect. The most amazing thing was the visional effects that was given btw each scene which I thought was a much needed touch. It seem to take your mind; inside the minds of the Artist(s) Spiritual Quest of what he/she faces on the path of "The Starving Artist".....

I am glad I attended !!! The play was about 2 hrs. but it didn't seem long or long enough..I expect to see a part 2. There was a line in the DAY 7: "Walking by Faith,Not by Fear" when "Princess" was Auditioning for a part with "DJ" a character played by Kofi Owusu and the "Director" played by Ashley Morgaine Lowe said " The Consciouses have no place at the dinner table". That struck a chord because we DON'T!! have a seat at the table of those who Steal his/her sold or Sell OUT for a money that note with SHIT anyways....

Inclusion, Princess of Controversy was always debuting her Sophomore album called "Soul Hop" which was worked beautifully into the play to make this production more meaningful. The Break Through showed you that anything is possible if you but God and The ANCESTORS first and "BE WHO" you are destiny to BE....

I give the Production 5 stars and another Star for Princess of Controversy working through the malfunction that happen on the set. I applaud you for keeping it moving.

First up was Trey songz. Great o stage presence. The new R.Kelly....Wale hits the stage with "Pretty Girls"...the crowd goes crazy....do be surprise that Wale is there. He is on Jay-Z's publishing....

Ppl get serious about their favorite artist. A few fans are sitting behind us (Earth and I). Trey calls a few women up on stage and the ladies behind us get heated. Cause it aunt them!! Lol c'mon son! We on (name row seats) the other ladies are front row and center...he is called the Prince of RNB...he could leave the stage w/o taking his shirt off....

:: Intermission:::

A brother ((my ppl)) taking bout smoking and pulls out a blunt a backwood to be correct. Lights up and began to smoke!!!! Weed in the Verizon Center...***niggah moment** YOU CANT SMOKE WEED IN THE VERIZON CENTER

Green Day ROCKS!!!

On Yesterday (July 29th, 2009) I experienced something. I have been wanting to witness every since the disappointing New years 2009 "Wu-Tang” show at the 930club in Washington DC. My personal opinion is that Cappadonna saved the show for me. This blog isn’t about the Wu-Tang show. I'm writing to share my musical encounter with GREEN DAY and how I was bless with a FREE ticket. I got off work bout 5pm headed down Georgia Ave on the 79 bus to meet Jamal (Kapital Magazine) to handle some business. I get a text from DJ Earth 1ne to ask my whereabouts? I text back "on Georgia ave"....she then replies "come over and drop off your bags; we going out"...I text back "where we going?” I get to her apartment and she mentions “I got two FREE tickets to see GREEN DAY". Buzz Buzz (my phone is ringing) it's Darn Good (Den'D Productions). He is out front waiting for me to come down stairs, so we can finish-up more business concerning the Kapital Magazine. He gives Earth and me a ride to the nearest Metro Station--------------->>>>>>> mins later…

We arrive at the Verizon center. We get the pat down by serucity.We go to the Will Call booth to grab the tickets. Earth says: “GREEN DAY gets on about 9pm”. We make a couple of bathroom stops, so we don’t have to excuse ourselves during the concert. After finding our seats Earth checks her phone for the time and it’s about 830pm --------->>>10mins later the lights go dim and all of a sudden six person(s) are running towards the stage!!! The Spotlight Shines on the Lead singer "Billie Joe Armstrong”. WOW!! I feel the energy of hundreds of people chanting, cheering, screaming and clapping for the band. Billie cues the drummer Tré Cool to begin the rock group's first song from the newest album "21st Century Breakdown" called 21st Century Breakdown. The band gave their fans a high energy performance from start to finish. Billie even called up random die hard fans to sing songs, play a guitar and even performed a ritual on a little girl to illustrate a tune called "Christian's Inferno”. Billie shouts "WHO WANTS TO GET SAVE TONIGHT in DC”! While the ritual is being performed youngsters are starting a Mosh pit and even caught people body surfing (If you never been in a Mosh pit keep your ass in the stands) that part of the concert is not for the weak. The Band even played a few past tunes from the 90’s. I really enjoyed myself. I’m a student of the live performances. I sat back and study the exchange of energies that Billie shared with the concert goers giving each person an opportunity to live out his or her dreams to be a Rock Star for 15mins. Lets be honest no matter race, color or creed of a person THE MUSIC and the connection we share goes far beyond the BS ( at least I hope it does)… Whenever GREEN DAY comes back to DC I’ll BE THERE!!!
