The Down Fall of a Black Business

While I waited for the green line metro train to Columbia Heights (this a metro train in Washington DC). I started thinking about my interactions with black business in this area. I love to walk in a black own business and feel the warmth of great customer service and a nice selection of goods ie: food,clothes,Cd's,movies,books,jewelry,in cents and smell goods. Most importantly it's the customer service that gets any race,color or creed to keep coming back. If the latter is not fulfill then the business is doom to fail and people will take his/her business ((money)) to some another business other then a black business.


Now I've had three experiences with black business in Washington,DC which I don't care to mention, but I will say this: 1 out  3 got boycotted and a petition with at least 75 person(s) signatures. I feel another thing that a Black Business face is when it's been in the community for years WE have spent money and told family and friends about this business. The Community has help it's growth in sales and its development within the area in which WE don't have to go outside our community to look for vegan foods, health products or physical fitness. The Downfall comes when a Black business or its owner gets TOO BIG or BIG HEADED thinking he/she has arrive when people who aren't non-blacks and Hispanics patron the business. They start to cater or lean towards breaking his/her backs to make the non-blacks and Hispanics feel more comfortable to the point of making US very uncomfortable or less appreciate, when we have there from the beginning. Now that is furnish with fine tables,carpet, and looks wonderful on the inside. YOU want to treat US like we don't matter. 

In conclusion, I feel that Customer SERVICE should out weigh race creed or color,but in some cases black business owners rather allow other forces to bring imbalance to serving the people.

#104 Blog: Hard to EARN (SELFRespect)....

Definition of Respect:

Esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability: I have great respect for her judgment.

Definition of Self:

The distinct individuality or identity of a person or thing.

Now, this word can be describe in many ways. Our Great Sister and Queen of Soul "Aretha Franklin" said it best: "R.E.S.P.E.C.T found out what it means to ME". This post will be go right in the Health section of this blog spot. Today 2/10/11 i saw a tweet by (@thecarryout) and he was talking about how people was disliking a name of a young HipHop group here in Washington, DC named  "Kool Klux Klan" a few people thought it was and still is a racist name to call a crew. I tweeted back (@e7thp) about a group in the early 90's called "The Young Black Teenagers" which was an all white Hiphop group from New York (founded by PE & Hank Shock Lee). I went on too say that i respect the young brothers for having fun with the music and I've shown them universal love and respect.

This leads me to my Hard to EARN (SELFRespect) reflection. It has not been address to me that people been displeased with my connections with (@dcrap) Tyrone Norris aka Isaac William Shmaschemov. Let's not use the word displeased but ummmmmmmm lost respect for me. Most have not come fwd to proclaim this action but some have shun away from asking me to host events,performing or even working together on a music projects. Some may even go as far to say (@underdogthedj) and I are beefing and don't like each other...LMAO..I'm not a puppet I choose to work with Tyrone because of his drive and willing to try not ideas. Plus his a Truskool representative that took it too the next level. I enjoy working with him and watching his ideas come alive...He actually is the one that keep me in the scene among the new/young artist coming up in the DC arts scene. So with that i #salute him...

 I'm consider a staple/legend in DC Hiphop Community something i never ask to be called. It just came along with hard work and being consist. No matter if i think you wack,dope or so-so I've still shown everyone respect. Unless shown other wise.

I come to the defense of the new promoters,artists & musicians on many occasions to say: "I cant hate on them because who is doing weekly/monthly events anyways" and "If we see an error we must pull them aside to ask how can we help with his/her mission" and "If we don't like want they are doing at least show some type of mutual respect" and the young talent aren't omitted from doing the same". Please beware who laid the foundation for you to continue to do YOU...

Each night I lay down I reflect on SELFrespect; then I take a look on how that reflects a sign of respect on the youngins that are doing/putting on shows in the Washington DC area. Because at the end Hiphop is going back to its baby stages and if the Elders don't teach instead of preach the youth will become very dis-respectful in a Animalistic kind of way.

The crazy thing about SELFrespect is that I don't need to brag and boost about my metals of honor in the community of DC Hiphop....Some people who shun know my history of speaking my mind on and off the mic.. If you really want to know about me google "Enoch 7th Prophet" , but shit the Internet is no match to the word of  mouth and how much respect I've shown across the board.

#103 Blog: The Before & After Effects of a Woman...(mythoughts)

Today 2/8/11 in my health blog section i will unleash a few points that I've heard women talk about that really and truly makes sense to me. On the other hand men who care enough to read this blog may consider me a hater for exposing the bullshit that i see/hear women go through. Now the honest and true man will over stand what the heaven I'm talking about.
*Disclaimer coming up as a young knuckle head I've had my bad experiences*

It's 2011 not 1911 so today's man (if that word even holds weight) approach women as sex objects or just a spiritual play ground and not in the business of sharing knowledge,wisdom and understanding. Today's music doesn't help either along with societies views of the black woman and women across the board. Songs like: "Superman that hoe"-Soliderboy, "Bitches and Shit but hoes and tricks"-N.W.A, "My Humps"-Black eye Peas, "Real N**** Roll Call" by Lil` Jon, The Eastside Boyz and Ice Cube and that song by Nine Inch Nails - "I wanna FU*K you like an animal". If you have sexual intercourse with animals that's downright cave like (SMDH)...so this brings me to my own thoughts and views in which the woman is sick in tired of this behaivor being force on her.. No matter what WE (men) think her likes and dis-likes are we should show respect (right or wrong)..Videos and images play a big part in the (mind-set of the man and others who want to rape our women by using the visional arts)....Do we has a people know the difference between classy,trashy,sexy and down right....(WTF) or does todays unseen/seen hand mold our preception.

Case #1 If dealing with a female ..try and know her mentally first. Don't pretend and use kind words to get in her panties. The woman's nature is wanting/recieving and giving love. Women see Love differently. The word holds weight with them. Sometimes WE as men use the word LOVE to get the panties or something materilistic,but not knowing in the long run; that word will have to produce action in the end....

Case #2. Beating on a woman doesn't mean you LOVE her,but in her mind that will form a definition of love to her if done on a regular basis....Men i understand that our women can stir up a demonic force in us to cause these things to happen ie (you have a little dick,you a weak ass dude, so and so not your daughter anyways,) but as a man please walk away. That would be the best thing you can ever do. Hitting on her doesnt make you a MAN....

Case #3. Ive seen/heard men whistle at women before as a master  would whistle at a dog to come. ummmm does this term B*tch hold a deeper psychological meaning; that the whistlee would turn around and come back to the whistler...How about when a male makes an advance and the woman doesn't submit to the advancements...then guess what? she's is still called a B*tch. So either way the she cant win from losing. I've even seen objects thrown at a female.

Case#4. Taking care of a woman's well being if you have the ability too is the greatest gift. The wellness of a woman is the portal to life itself. Show her that you care eventhough you THINK she maybe show interest in her own well being. Be honest in your words and actions. Be straight up in with your agendas.

*Guys if you just want sex then make that known up front at  least give the woman a choice to deal with you or NOT*, but as Professor Griff put it "If your man is not down for the revolution and freedom for our people ladies, cut him lose"

Case #5 For both parties involved don't use your children or child to get to the MOM or DAD...that shit is wack.....cause if the child or children don't like YOU he or she don't LIKE you...(point blank) the youth can see and read vibrations.

Case #6 I heard a woman say: "this bama says he likes me,wants to be with me and even told a friend that he would married me, but the dude didn't even spell my name right in his cell phone"...LMAO when i heard this statement...Then I said "He should've plug the number in and handed you the phone so you can spell your own name"....

In today's world hue-mans are hue-mans and subject to errors. I feel that each case mentioned can be corrected with the right vibration and energy. I will give a solution to the cases as such:

-Allow the person to meet the REAL/REEL you instead of a representative of YOU, that way Men and Women have a choice to whom he/she will deal with ....this way make us responsible for your choices.

#100 Blog: A Lunch Convosation

During my hour lunch break today. I found myself in a conversation about religion with this elder...why??? Heaven/hell if I know, but we started talking about communion and how the song was sing during this event in a black Church setting:

Question: wasn't 10,000 years waaaaaaaaaay before Jesus?

We went on to discuss the attire one who wear at this event. I said all the women in my Grandmother's Church wear white. She disagreed. I proceeded to give knowledge and background on (The Fire Baptized Holiness Church) movement here in Washington DC along with Jesus ONLY, Holiness and Daddy Grace Church. Some people never know what you know or where you been; and in this case the elder don't know how deep my background goes....NOW BACK to the latter part "DADDY GRACE" a co-work says "yeah, my friend goes in there in get breakfast every morning, and I told him you better say out of there"....everyone laughs......

Now the kicker is:::::::
The elder goes:
 I would never buy anything from him or THEM MUSLIMS....who be selling those potatoes pies...huh?? I said they are bean pies.
Me: Why NOT
Elder: Because they don’t believe in Jesus Christ....
Me: where did you buy your lunch today?
Elder: Giant Foods
Me: Do they believe in Jesus Christ
Elder: (silence)
Me: huh? o_o
Me: do you know any Muslims
Elder: yep, the one that comes on TV, who do the Million dollar march (lol)
Me: Oh, you are talking about Creflo Dollar, TD Snakes or the guy who touch the youth in Atl.
Elder: (now she's in her feelings) they don’t believe that Jesus is the Christ, they believe in Muhammad who apparently isn’t Jesus.
Me: My Question do you know any Muslims?
Elder: NO!
Me: Let's remember that Muslim is everywhere different type of Muslim. I’m speaking on the black Muslims here in North America...
Elder: I don’t like Farrakhan cause he HATEs JEWS....
Me.(waits a sec)...He hates those who claim to JEWs and are not!
Elder: doesn’t your wife Follow Farrakhan. I said no. she follows Allah. Farrakhan is just a massager from Allah. (don't get me wrong the minister is a Great man of God and one of the few who speak truth to power!!! with facts!!!)

Needless to say the convo has switch gears. My thoughts of people not knowing mear facts have me to quote this sentence from the Holy Bible that states:

         Since you have forgotten the law of your God,

I strongly feel that in this life our goal should be to respect and love each other(s) thoughts; even if it’s not like our own. I not going to say that the elder was wrong in her thinking, but uneducated in her knowledge of a person(s) beliefs...NOT buying or supporting a person because they don’t believe in Jesus Christ is that wrong? Buying food from a multi-billion dollar company such as GAINT FOODs and not knowing if they believe in Jesus Christ that’s questionable......

A Moment of Sadness

Where do I began. Most people would say "start from the beginning" and all respect I wish I could. Let's say I've been searching for my grand father's number and address for a very long time. I spoke with him shortly on last year to discover my grand mother died about 8 years ago and no one seem to call or find via phone or Internet services to tell me such a thing. Let's back track a little my DAD had a couple  of youth (4) and everyone seems to be spread-out in different parts of the United States in which i have only been in touch with one (1) which is my oldest sister. In the lifetime of my grand mother year here on earth (my father's mother) she gave me my sister number and told me that she got married and had a little son (my nephew). I called her and left several message in which she never return my calls to say the least. Keep in mind i have seen my sister since our father died in 1987 or that same after his death (if my memory serves me correctly)

Now lets more forward to Jan. 5, 2011 of my wedding anniversary night. I'm sitting online searching for my grand fathers where abouts and i find him. (right name and address) that i recall last time i visited him. I found him,my sister and my aunt ( i knew all the names were correct) because i was using the obituary from my father transitional services.

I decided to call my Aunt Tassie today (Jan. 6, 2011) from work. the phone rang and she answered. When she answered i knew that was her by the raspy of her voice ( she is a heavy smoker of the cigarettes). After running down the line of who i was, she was very happy to hear from me after all these years.

Sad part comes when she inform me that my grand father  transition (died) a year ago. huh? why nobody didn't call me or try too find me (thinking to myself "INTERNET"). She said my sister do even come by and see her at all. huh? WTF is going on ...I do have my sister's number in which the search website (http://www.spokeo.com/) generated for me. So i will def give her a call and hopes she answers the phone or will i have to leave a message in hopes that she will return it.

I shed a few tears because I never got the chance to say good-bye or pay my respects.

Do They Really Care about.....

I was watching the Eagles & Redskins game on Oct. 3, 2010 over a friend’s house and I notice a few players wearing something pink. I took a closer look to see a pink ribbon on the field and then pink ribbons on the back of helmets. It dawn on me that October is BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH. Then I realize that SEPTEMEBER was PROSTATE CANCER AWARNESS MONTH and NO! Support was shown for such a cause that affects men across the broad especially African-American men. I began to question the actions taken by the NFL…..I turn to my wife and said “is Breast Cancer BIG Business? or do people really care”? Please don’t take this blog out of context….I am just asking the POWERS that BE do they really care?......if Prostate Cancer was last month ; why not show support for that cause if half the players or even all the players in the NFL are Black men which are a higher risk to Prostate Cancer then European men.

Oct. 7,2010 on my job they are passing around a flyer for women to get examination today at the head office on such and such day ….I’m a government contractor who works for a BIG agency….WHY DIDN’T THEY DO THIS FOR PROSTATE CANCER!!! The agency claims to be an equal opportunity but when it comes to health you exclude the MEN and acppect the WOMEN….

•About 39,840 deaths from breast cancer (women)

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer.

The chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer some time during her life is a little less 1 in 8. The chance of dying from breast cancer is about 1 in 35. Breast cancer death rates have been going down. This is probably the result of finding the cancer earlier and better treatment. Right now there are more than 2½ million breast cancer survivors in the United States.

Back to my thoughts……

Are the Powers that BE playing a Numbers game….Let’s look at the NFL Owners: Most are European Males that are at a low risk of getting PROSTATE CANCER, but the wives of the owners and coach (European) have mothers, daughters and sisters that may have it or died from the dis-ease. Ummmmmm but the players are Black of African descent; with a higher risk of getting PROSTATE CANCER….Lets side track for a moment and think about Father’s Day /Mother’s day commercials which one is the BIGGEST!!!! Do they despise US that much? Why not make a conscience effort to balance it out….Women’s Basketball is coming up right? So the owners and coaches SHOULD say lets support Prostate Cancer by wearing Blue Ribbons. (NOT) no money in that ….  nor is that the Moth of Prostate Cancer.
In Order for equality to take place here in North America; It must first be shown to the human being (man, woman and child), but North American don’t give a DAMN about MEN!! Especially the Black man.

Does color still play huge part in OUR day to day Life? YES, if it isn’t Green then no equality for YOU!


Note: This post was not to downplay “BREAST CANCER” at all. This was to bring attention to whoever reads this blog to THINK and ask questions. My Aunt died from Breast Cancer and even my uncle as Prostate Cancer in which most MEN who have it don’t share that information with the world or even close family members. Let’s educate OURSELVES more!!!

DC has become the New Greece....

I know a few people may read this blog and feel that "The Data Free-Quency" blog has gone over broad. Uhm I feel that I have not yet push the mental envelope of the people that really fail to overstand the mission and purpose of TRUE Media and what its made to do. For example: Mental Salvation Radio is a prime module of keep it REAL and not ignorant. The Blog talk Radio Show give YOU the listener Music,news,lectures,interviews and a free will (WHEEL) to THINK for Yourself along with true Fact to back the claims WE speak about. I know you READ the Title: "DC has become the NEW Greece" or should it read "Has DC become the NEW Greece?" . Today's WORD is "MENTOR" and WE has a Afro-Descendants use this word everyday of the week, so how does this WORD tie into DC becoming the NEW GREECE.....

Silent Wars

Right now at work I am listening to a pass podcast show called: "Turn off the Radio" it's killing our babies on Mental Salvation Radio vol.2 during this broadcast I hear myself talking about the silent war by use of the mainstream radio frequency. I know today most of us woke up to a radio alarm clock that is LOCK into our favorite radio station. It's something that we have been PROGRAM to do at an early age. We sometimes treat the radio like a cup of coffee (can't do without it). Unaware to the damage that coffee may be causing on the body and unaware of the mental/spiritual damage cause by the radio station. I must address that most not all radio stations are BAD. I'm talking bout the RADIO STATION that plays and talks about the same Bull shit with a so-called different format or radio person attach to it.

We find our babies listening to this Bull-shit and reciting it. right? haven't you Mom or Dad heard your child rapping or singing a certain song; that you know isn't right for a child to sing. Some brainwashed parents will allow his/her child to rap that same song and may even sing or rap along with him/her ie... Lil Wayne,50 cents,Common,Young Jock,Young Jezzy, and others i don't need to mention because you get the point....*smh*

Now back to the topic "SILENT WARS" these Scientists have learn that we as a people move,act,re-act and think by and on a certain TONE or Sound. By taking music programs out the school across amerikkka, we have notice the outrage of random killings.... These wicked individuals know that music is the heart beat of a PEOPLE ie "Afrikan People"..

On today i got a called that kind of shook-up my spirit a litte bit. After listening and trying to find the words to help comfort this individual. I came to realize that whatever we put our bodies through in life; its bound to come back to attack us. Let me clarify that statement: we must look at our bobies as a Temple of God,Jah,Allah,Buddha the Most High whatever you call the Great Supreme Master. Its a Gift that is very complex to figure out and maintain,but with the right tools we can maintain the Temple inwhich God rest and lives.

Many of you already now what i do besides Holistic Health right? Shyt i hope so, most of y'all I've known for a damn long time :)... I'm writing this blog to tell Y'all this!! Jah/God has put me in a certain position to handle a certain mission. While, i was working on getting certified for Holistic Health to serve my Family,Friends and people that i would have never given a glass of water to if they were Dying of Thirst....ie son's mother......

This information that i have been collecting over the past years have been adding up. People think I have the answers to all the question,but actually i just have the piece that you need to fit in your puzzle. Shyt we share information daily.

The Most High has put me in this Life now to help and heal people via Music and Health. That my calling and Give thanks for seeing that Today just by that one phone call! That means I must step my game up even more. My mommy told me " I vision you being our next Pastor, you might not see it now" she continues "but if it happen and I'm not around just remember what i said"....................

What’s a Movement? DMV

Now for many years Washington, DC was called The METRO. In, 2000(something) marks the new definition called the DMV this covers the entire (DC-MD-VA) area. Most people connect the term DMV with the Department of Motor Vehicle; which isn’t the case if you are a resident of the area. Since we got that small part out the way we can move on with today’s blog. *note to reader* I will attempt to give a Holistic overview of certain ideas that I see aren’t taken shape here in THE METRO via DMV…Give thanks.

Let’s began with Mr. Webster's definition of "Movement" and says: a movement is a motion, a change in position. . Keep in mind there are many different components that make up the word movement. Since this blog is going to focus on the Hiphop music scene I must use one of the components of “MOVEMENT”. For example; a movement is a self-contained part of a musical composition or musical form. While individual or selected movements from a composition are sometimes performed separately, a performance of the complete work requires all the movements to be performed in succession.

Often a composer attempts to interrelate the movements thematically, or sometimes in more subtle ways, in order that the individual movements exert a cumulative effect. In some forms, composers sometimes link the movements, or ask for them to be played without a pause between them.

I have been reading a lot of blogs, tweeter, myspace, facebook and other social sites. That would make me to believe that there is a DMV Movement, but as I began to deeply search and use my soft eyes to see how the so-called movement is moving. I come to see the Constipation within the movement. Before you judge that BOLD statement I made. Please use the application of REASONING and Observation before speaking. We use words in our every day conversation and really do/don’t care about the energy behind the meaning. There is a lot of SHIT (Constipation) that goes on here in the DMV such; greedy promoters, greedy club owners, artists to artist beefs, jealous deejays and that conscious/backpacker emcees vs. unconscious/gangster rapper Willie lynch syndrome. So where’s the “MOVEMENT DMV”?

The Nations Cap is the home of Marvin Gaye, Johnny Gill, Peaches and Herb, Section 8 Mob, Dave Chappelle, Nonchalant, Kev Brown, Kokayi, Asheru, Infinite Loop , Storm the Unpredictable,Po-emcee, XO, Dend Productions, Damu the FudgeMunk,Wale,Tabi Bonney,Emperess, MadamMadon, Princess of Controversy and the list goes on and on. I see the growth but where’s the Movement? Recently a home town favorite “WALE” dropped his highly awaited album “Attention Deficit” which sold about 28,000 copies. Prior to the release date of this album tweeter was buzzing about supporting the DMV Movement by purchasing this album. I thought to myself damn where was the support of: Kev Brown “Random joints”, The Package “New Golden era”, Dend Productions “In our Own Lane” or the Kapital Magazine or even Enoch 7th Prophet “Data Frequency” album. It was a recent photo shoot that took place in front of the Legendary Lincoln Theatre in Washington, dc in which only certain artists got the call or the tweet info. It was like a secret among those elite that knew (reminds me of how Masons and other secret organizations move) and others that just BUMRUSHED the Photo shoot..(Where's the MOVEMENT?) DMV


Ok, I get it now if you are not doing it so-called BIG in the DMV then you are not apart of such a MOVEMENT…its moreover a NOMAD movement or an Individual Movement...DMV is suppose to be a collective idea or a philosophy right? I don’t see it (3rd eye). Did the people elect a Leader to lead the Movement? If so, where is the Leader and why doesn’t he/she support our efforts like we support his/hers. Why doesn’t the Leader show up at grassroots events, community centers and events that give back to the community in which they are getting the support from? Shit is bigger then HIPHOP. This blog isn’t a diss to Wale, Tabi Bonney or Judah Beats nor anyone else for that matter. So please don’t re-direct this blog into a distasteful statement don’t you think its time to stop being constipated. I will go on record and say “MY BOWELS MOVE BETTER, then the DMV MOVEMENT”. Overstand that each person is moving at his/her on pace and I applaud those person(s) who are moving and growing within the culture of music. I will boldly stand on Truth and say the “DMV Movement” doesn’t exist!!! Some are completely blinded by his/her egos to see the bigger picture. Once the Bigger picture btw artist/promoters/club owners are drawn then and only then; can the vision and the true meaning of MOVEMENT be put into action.

In conclusion, I would like to say that; on November 19, 2009 I will no longer use the phrase DMV Movement cause in my professional opinion as a Holistic Health Consulted I see it becoming damaging to the minds and energy of a community. I know people will love to argue this point, but it’s my POV and aura that is being affected by using this term that doesn’t reflect a person(s) growth and develop as an artist.

I took this has a SIGN

On Oct 5th, 2009. I got off the train at Bethesda metro in Maryland and I began to walk thru the tunnel of the metro and saw this sign that READ: WE WERE WARNED Search:2012 so i took a picture of to post later on the blog spot. I proceeded to leave the tunnel and jump on the moving steps (escalator) lol...after jumping off the moving steps and heading to the sidewalk to cross the busy street of old Georgetown rd.



I spot a cheese bus (Yellow School bus) the number of the bus was 02012 WOW!! So I took a picture of that....I thought to myself "this a sign to PLAY those numbers and win Millions of Dollars" (lol).....or was there a Spiritual meaning behind the digits 2012. I know the year 2012 is when the spell of the Willie Lynch is to be broken. New Life

Today's Date is (9) month of September (9) day the year 2009. In today's Health section of the Data Free-Quency blog. I would like to give my insight on the numbers of today and what I think it means. (Hint: the WORD "I" Think (Man-I-Fest)I want to make it known that numbers play an important role in your growth pro-cess. Our body reads as numbers from PH balance to DNA samples. It seems strange to some that today is 9/9/9because most are looking at the numbers as 6/6/6 ..hmmm see how its easy to be taught bad/evil thinking. Well, its kinda hard to think positive thoughts in a Demonic World,but just for once today lets focus on the POSITIVE.

If we look at the number 6 with a clear 3rd EYE view. You can notice the six(6) looks like a woman carrying a unborn child. Look real close.. 6.

Now lets look at the number 9 with the same EYE view. You notice the woman has giving birth to the unborn child.
